what we value

A Place for Anyone - A Purpose for Life - A Passion for People

OUR VISION:

To see God-Intended change in people and their lives by: CONNECTING them to Jesus Christ, and empowering them to participate in a God-given CAUSE in a God-designed COMMUNITY.

OUR MISSION:

To intentionally ’Reach Seekers’ and ‘Build Believers’ to become fully committed to Christ and His cause.

OUR CORE VALUES:

1. Cause of Christ:

Reaching those without Christ is our highest priority and is a primary reason the Church exists. (Luke 5:30-32, Matthew 18:14, Luke 15)

2. Connected:

God desires an intimate relationship with each of us – Every human being is designed for this.

3. Community:

God designed us to live life in an environment of healthy and authentic relationships that reflect our diverse culture - this is the best place to experience life-change.

4. Consistent Message:

God has an unchanging message – The Bible.  Its teachings are a catalyst for life change, and it is the final authority for our lives.

5. Copy Christ:

Jesus demonstrated a life-style worthy of imitating:  Relational Intentionality (Incarnation), Serving, and Apprenticing.

6. Create Relevant Environments:

Every environment should be designed to effectively connect with its target audience.  (Encounter culture & Culture encounters Christ)

7. Change:

We value transformation (becoming a Christ-follower) and life-change (becoming more like Jesus) and this should be normal and regular in the life of our church. This is the basis for being successful.

It is normal for every Believer to be growing spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and relationally by becoming a self-feeding, and reproducing follower of Christ.

8. Co-Workers:

Every member (Christ-Follower) a minister.  The Church should operate as a unified community of servants with each Christ-follower being responsible to steward their spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities to serve His church and the world.

9. Cooperation:

In Essentials Unity; In Non-Essentials Liberty; In Everything Charity.  There is enough for followers of Christ to obey in the “Great Commandment” and the “Great Commission” that allows us to focus on common goals.

10. Catches the Eye:

Excellence without extravagance honors God and inspires people.
